  3. Fix the basics first. Technical problems, missing titles, slow pages and an incomplete Google Business Profile usually come first, because they’re quick to fix and hold everything else back.

What to expect

  • Timelines: technical fixes can help within weeks. Rankings usually take three to six months, longer for competitive searches.
  • No guarantees of first place: nobody controls Google’s rankings. Be wary of anyone who promises “page one in 30 days”.
  • No shortcuts: we don’t buy links or stuff pages with keywords. Those tricks can get a site penalised.

How long does SEO take to work?

Fixing technical problems can help within weeks, once Google has visited the pages again. Better rankings usually take three to six months, and longer for competitive searches. We’ll tell you what’s realistic for your business before you start.

Can you guarantee first place on Google?

No, and nobody honestly can: Google decides the rankings. What we can do is fix what’s holding your site back, make your pages the best answer for your customers’ searches, and report clearly on what’s changing.

Do you work on websites you didn’t build?

Yes, as long as we can get access to make changes. We work with WordPress websites most often. If your site is on another platform, ask us and we’ll tell you what we can do.

What do you need from me?

Access to your website, Google Search Console, analytics and Google Business Profile (we can set up any you don’t have), and a short chat about your customers, your services and the areas you cover.

Who owns the accounts?
