Your Google Business Profile

For local searches, your Google Business Profile often matters more than your website. We:

  • claim or set up the profile and get it verified;
  • choose the right main and extra categories, which matter more than anything else on the profile;
  • fill in your services, service area or address, opening hours, photos and a link to the right page of your website;
  • post updates and offers, and keep everything current;
  • fix duplicate or out-of-date listings.

Reviews

The number of reviews, how recent they are and how you reply all affect where you appear. We set up a simple review link to send customers, and help you reply to every review, good or bad. We never buy reviews or only ask customers we know are happy: fake reviews break Google’s rules and consumer law.

Directories and consistent details

Your business name, address or area, phone number and website should match everywhere: your website, Google, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Facebook, Golden Pages and the directories in your industry. We find and fix the mismatches, which make search engines less sure about your business.

Local pages on your website

A clear page for each main service, and pages for the areas you genuinely serve, help you appear for searches such as “electrician Ballincollig” or “accountant Athlone”. Each one needs something real to say about that area. Dozens of near-identical town pages go against Google’s spam policies, so we don’t make them.

Do I need an address to appear in Google Maps?

No. Businesses that travel to their customers, such as tradespeople and IT support, can hide their address and show a service area instead. Google still needs to verify where you’re based.

How long does local SEO take?

A complete, verified Google Business Profile can start showing up within weeks. Climbing into the top three for competitive searches usually takes a few months of steady reviews, posts and website improvements.
